He was born on August 25, 1970, to a family of Ukrainian employees. In 1992 he graduated from Kyiv State University named after T.G. Shevchenko. From 1992 to 1995 he studied at the graduate school of the Institute of Biochemistry. О.В. Palladin of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Since December 1995, Candidate of Biological Sciences, specialty 03.00.04 – “Biochemistry”. Since 1996 he has worked as an assistant at the Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, National Agrarian University. In 1998 he graduated from the veterinary faculty of the National Agrarian University with a degree in veterinary medicine, worked as a senior lecturer. In 2001-2004 he worked as the dean of the newly created faculty of quality and safety of products of agro-industrial complex of NAU. In 2004 he defended his dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Biological Sciences in the specialty 03.00.04 – Biochemistry. In 2005 he received the title of Professor of Biochemistry, Quality and Safety of Agricultural Products of NAU. From 2004 to 2010 he held the position of Vice-Rector for Educational and Research and Production of Quality, Standardization and Certification of Agricultural Products of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine. From 2010 to 2015 he held the position of Director of the Ukrainian Laboratory of Quality and Safety of Agricultural Products. From July 2015 to November 2015 he held the position of First Deputy Head of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. From December 2015 to February 2016 he worked as a chief specialist in food safety and agricultural technologies in the certification company TMSUkraine (TUVSUD) and the initiator of the international Ukrainian-Chinese scientific cooperation project. In March 2017, he was appointed Director of the China-Ukraine Research Institute of Life Sciences, Zhuji, Zhejiang Province, China. He is currently a professor at Sumy National Agrarian University and a visiting professor at Zhejiang University of Agriculture and Forestry, Zhejiang Province, China. UN FAO Food Security Expert. Main disciplines: Biochemistry, Food and dietary supplements, Fundamentals of physiology and food hygiene.

- Science of food, food law, environment, environmentally friendly and organic technologies, modern diagnostic systems for animal diseases.
- Adaptation of the education system in the field of quality control and safety of agricultural products with international systems and standards.
- Artificial hypobiosis, the influence of various forms of carbon dioxide on the main biochemical processes in tissues, organs and cells of mammals. Internship In 2000, he underwent a six-month internship in the United States, majoring in FoodScience (food quality and safety). 2017 – 2018 – internship in China.
