In order to ensure compliance with paragraph 15 of Art. 62 of the Law of Ukraine “On Higher Education” and the Regulations on the organization of study of free choice disciplines approved by the decision of the Academic Council of SNAU from 30.03.2015 at the Faculty of Food Technology establishes an algorithm for exercising the right of free choice by students.
Students are given the opportunity to freely choose academic disciplines within 25% of the total amount of the relevant educational program. The selected subjects will be included in the individual curriculum of each student, and the learning outcomes will be reflected in the diploma supplement.
Certain disciplines of the curriculum are subject to choice. The choice of disciplines is made in the period from December 1 to March 1.
Enrollment in elective courses is done by filling out an application.
Students who have not made their choice and have not filled in the standard application form are enrolled in groups taking into account the choice of other students. The minimum number of students to study the elective discipline – 20-25 people. If the study group is too small, it is disbanded, the discipline is excluded from the choice, and students join the courses that follow their priorities.
